What is RentGuard?

RentGuard is a tech company that provides a system to speed up booking process. Benefits of using our system are you don't have to meet face-to-face with the agent, you can finish booking process anywhere anytime it help you free up your time, as the tenant or buyer you can pay through online by using a credit card, bank transfer, or Paypal. you can keep track the booking progress as well without worrying your agent will runaway with your money, and you can print the invoice anytime.

Is my personal data secure?

RentGuard data is secured & protected under PDPA. The Personal Data Protection Act is an act enacted by the Malaysian government in 2010 to protect individual’s personal data in commercial transactions.

Do you provide a mobile application for RentGuard?

Our system are mobile friendly. However, our mobile application still in under development.

How do I contact you?

If I have a problem with an agent? How can I complain?

​You can file complain by: Step 1: Log-in to your RentGuard account Step 2: Click bookings. Step 3: Find the agent name under booking list and click view. Step 4: Click preview button Step 5: On the top of the page there will be agency name and contact. Step 6: Please contact the agency to file a report or complain.

About Account

How can I get an account?

As a tenant, you must first contact your agent, and provide them with your email. Once the agent decides to open a booking for a property under your name, the rentguard system will send you an email invite, asking you to register with the system.

How do I recover my password if I lost it?

Step 1: Click Forget Password.
Step 2: Enter your e-mail.
Step 3: Check your e-mail.
​ Step 4: Enter the new password and confirm password.

Getting started

How to use the system?

After agent created the booking/deals.

Step 1: You will receive e-mail and SMS.

Step 2: Click "Proceed to approve".
Step 3: Just create your new password and confirm password.
Step 4: Click "Approve (√ Tenant)".
Step 5: Wait for the agent to arrange the payment.

Can I use my mobile to complete the deal?

Yes, our system is mobile friendly. You may use your desktop, notebook or smartphone to complete any deal, any time, anywhere.

How do I make the booking payment?

There are 2 options to make the payment, either offline payment (cash/cheque) or online payment (credit card/bank transfer)

How to use offline payment?

You will have to meet with the agent. whether you want to pay by cheque or cash.

How to use online payment?

Step 1: You will receive payment link via E-mail & SMS.
Step 2: Open the E-mail and click "Proceed to online payment"
Step 3: Choose online payment option (Credit card, Bank transfer, or Paypal).
Step 4: Check the total amount and continue to payment.
Step 5: Payment successfully that means transaction is completed.

Would there be any service charge for using online payment?

​Yes, there will be 3% charges on total payment will be imposed if you use online payment

What do I do if the online payment method failed?

​First: If you're using credit card. please check your sufficient credit limit. Second: If you're using Bank transfer. please check if there is sufficient balance in your account. Third: Please check with your agent regarding your payment.

What if I don't have an E-mail?

Please contact your agent, the agent will assist you on that.

Can I choose usual booking form instead of E-booking form?

Yes, Kindly contact your agent on this request

Where can I view my Offer Letter?

Step 1: Click Bookings. Step 2: Choose the booking you are looking for and click view. Step 3: Click More, Preview Offer Letter. Step 4: Your Offer Letter will be shown in a new tab.
